The Queen of All Saints community in Michigan City consists of a church with about 3,500 members, a Catholic grade school serving 185 students in PK-8th grade, and more than 50 active ministries with more than 200 people involved. In 2016, the parish broke ground on an expansion connecting the church and school buildings, constituting an additional 15,500 square feet of building space. Frost served as the specialty structural engineer for load-bearing and non-load-bearing cold-formed steel framing. The scope encompassed the design and engineered calculation submittal for exterior and interior wall, roofing, and door and window framing for both the additional building and rehabilitation of the existing school building.
