Frost Engineering & Consulting was enlisted by Arkos Design to act as the lead structural engineer on this adaptive reuse project in Nappanee, Indiana. The 13,481 sq. ft. building, originally constructed in 1925, required extensive interior and exterior renovation to be transformed into a new bistro, brewery and distillery destination. The award-winning project includes a dining area, lofted lounge, outdoor patio and taproom.

Frost provided a comprehensive structural capacity assessment and condition analysis as part of the process of retrofitting the century old building. The Frost team designed structural reinforcements for multiple floors and designed modifications to the existing roof to support the HVAC system.
