The River House Broad Ripple apartments are located right off the White River and Monon Trail in Indianapolis. For this project, Frost Engineering & Consulting served as the specialty structural engineer for the load-bearing and non-load bearing cold-formed steel framing throughout the building. The scope encompassed the design and engineered calculation submittal for exterior wall, interior & exterior ceiling, and door & window framing for various areas of the facility. In designing these components, Frost adhered to the Indiana State Building Code and applied the design equations and methodologies of the IBC, ASCE 7-10, AISI S100 and SSMA design guidelines.
