Frost Engineering & Consulting served as the specialty structural engineer for The Park at Pulliam Square, a 9-story mixed-use development project in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The estimated construction cost was approximately $70 million. The building features 334 apartments, 4,600 square feet of office space and 7,000 square feet of retail space.
Frost’s scope included the design and detailing of cold-formed steel framing of the exterior non-load bearing walls and window and door openings as well as the exterior facade bump-out framing. In designing these components, Frost adhered to the Indiana State Building Code and applied the design equations and methodologies of the IBC, ASCE 7-10, AISI S100 and SSMA design guidelines.
