Project Archives: Jenkins & Nanovic Halls
Frost Engineering & Consulting was enlisted for structural engineering services for these two four-story interconnected buildings with 185,000 gross square feet of floor space at a cost of approximately $72 million. Jenkins Hall became the home of Notre Dame’s new Keough School of Global Affairs. Nanovic Hall houses the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the departments of Economics, Political Science and Sociology.
Frost served as the specialty structural engineer for cold-formed steel framing throughout the buildings. The scope encompassed the design and engineered calculation submittal for interior wall, interior and exterior ceiling, and bulkhead framing for various areas of the facility.
