Frost Engineering & Consulting was enlisted by Associated Drywall Partners for specialty engineering services designing the exterior, non-load bearing cold-formed steel (CFS) wall framing for this new construction, mixed-use residential building located in the micro-neighborhood of Library Square in Indianapolis, Indiana. The five-story, 111-unit development includes a rooftop terrace and ground level amenity spaces. The building’s south facade faces the Indianapolis Public Library across the street.

Frost’s scope included exterior wall wind load calculations and the design of cold-formed metal framing. The Frost team designed all exterior CFS components while adhering to the State Building Code and applying the equations and methodologies of the IBC Building Code, ASCE 7 and AISI S100.
