Frost Engineering was enlisted to design a structural retrofit and annex of the historic Baugo Township High School Gymnasium in Jamestown (also known as Jimtown), Indiana. Originally built in 1929 and listed as an Indiana Landmark, the gymnasium will be transformed into a modern community center.

The renovated facility includes a kitchen, areas for fitness classes and tutoring, and a gymnasium. Its historical significance is rooted in both its cultural importance and its architectural elements, such as the salt-glazed brick, hanging balcony, and fixed bleachers, which are characteristic of the era. The retrofit will encompass approximately 10,500 sq. ft. with an estimated construction cost of $3.5 million.
