Frost Engineering and Consulting is excited to welcome Juan Diego Pozo to our team!

Juan Diego is originally from Ecuador. He completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Cuenca, a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Juan Diego conducted research on the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete elements and its applications to Performance-Based Seismic Design.

Prior to joining the Frost team as a Senior Structural Engineer, Juan Diego has been involved in diverse projects across both the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience in new building projects situated in high seismic zones, spanning regions like the West Coast and even international locations. He brings to Frost his experience in steel and concrete structures, seismic design, and Performance-Based Seismic Design. Juan Diego is also a member of the American Concrete Institute and the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute.
