Drew McAuliff, MEng, EI
During his Air Force career, Drew was involved in a variety of design and construction projects. He began by programming projects and securing funding for new construction and infrastructure repairs. He then moved on to designing and constructing pre-engineered (PEB) steel buildings for military use. During this time, Drew managed a site with multiple ongoing projects, overseeing more than 100 craftsmen at any given time. After his military service, he managed international projects in security infrastructure and solar panel installation within the non-profit sector. Drew’s passion for technical problem-solving and engineering inspired him to pursue a Master of Engineering degree at the University of Notre Dame.
In his free time, Drew enjoys adventures with his wife and four kids. In the winter, this might include sledding down the local hill, while warmer weather activities could involve biking to the public park, attending Notre Dame tailgates, or other outdoor adventures. Once the kids are in bed, Drew likes to unwind by reading or playing board games.
