Baha’a Al-Khateeb, PhD

PROJECT ENGINEER

Baha’a’s research experience focused on the seismic behavior and design of reinforced concrete structures. His Ph.D. work included experimental and numerical studies of short-grouted ductile bar connections for seismic precast shear walls, while his Master’s research examined the effects of axial restraint on reinforced concrete coupling beams. He also gained experience in the design of prestressed concrete, steel, and wood structures.

Outside of work, Baha’a enjoys spending time outdoors—whether walking, running, or hiking—anything that keeps him active. He values quality time with family and friends and has a passion for repairing broken items and exploring how things work.
