When you get the call asking to help build the Ark, you accept.  The complexity and challenges of the design made for an exciting and unique experience for the Frost team.  FEC worked on this project with The Troyer Group for over a year, serving as the lead foundation structural engineer of the Ark Encounter’s full-size Noah’s Ark.  Troy Madlem, VP, SE, would lead the design team in the type size and layout for the Ark’s foundation. The Ark was built to the dimensions of 510ft long, 85ft wide and 51ft high and cost $75 million in construction costs.
